Riverside Theatre

Historical Significance: Built in 1897 as French’s Block and then rebuilt in 1899 after a fire as French’s New Opera House and hall. In 1915 it was used as a masonic temple.

Project Scope:

  • Historic Preservation Conditions Assessment to investigate and document building deficiencies.

  • Phased exterior restoration of masonry, windows, storefronts, and marquee.

  • Design and documentation of code upgrades including new egress and ADA access accommodations.

  • Design of future interior renovations to improve functionality of theater and support spaces.
