Stephen Wessling, CEO,Principal,AIA, CSI, BOCA: swessling@wesslingarchitects.com Steve started Wessling Architects in 1992 in the basement of his home. His business and reputation quickly grew and he is currently employing 17 team members. Steve is a multi-disciplined architect, with over 40 years of in-depth experience on an extensive variety of building types and sizes. Steve's proven skills include: cost effective designer; ability to build strong client/architect relationships; extensive experience in documentation and resolution of building problems; significant construction administration experience; extensive technical knowledge, proven ability to secure building permits and approvals at all stages of a project. Steve strongly believes in building design of lasting value. Accomplished as a project manager, specifications writer, contract negotiator, design critic and formal contributing editor for Code Monitor. Steve holds a Bachelors of Architecture degree from the Boston Architectural Center. Steve is a member of NCARB and he holds registrations in the states of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Washington DC, Vermont, Florida, Indiana and New York. He is also affliated with AIA, CSI, BOCA, BOMA, NFPA, BBB, and the IFMA. James Mackey, Project Manager: jmackey@wesslingarchitects.com With over 15 years of experience, James is a multi-disciplinesd designer and project manager. He possess strong experience in design, construction drawings, project team management, building analysis and restoration, field observation and documentation, in maintaining communications between the various participants of a project, and bulding lasting client relationships. He is noted for having not only a concern for the aesthetis of a design, but also in the quality of the materials and methods used to realize it. He holds a Bachelors of Architecture from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY and has been with Wessling Architects for 7 years. Linda Works, Interior Designer, IIDA: lworks@wesslingarchitects.com With over 10 years of experience, Linda is the backbone of our interior design department. She possess strong experience in design and creativity using new and innovative materials to keep up with today's commercial images. She has proven her talent and skills in many tenant outfits, spacial planning, interior immaging, signage, Corporate imaging, etc. She listens to the clients and their needs and grasps hold of the image that they are striving for. Linda holds a Bachelors of Interior Design from the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk Univ., Boston, MA. She also holds an Artist Diploma from New England Conservatory and a Masters of Music from New England Conservatory of Music. Linda earned a Merit Award in the Commercial Category, ASID Student Design Competition, in 1996. Linda has been with Wessling Architects for 7 years. |

John Karman, Project Manager,Building Envelope Specialist: jkarman@wesslingarchitects.com John has over 17 years of experience in the consulting engineering field. John’s experience is diversified in the building engineering field. After gaining valuable experience in construction document and detailing segments of building structural engineering, John performed Clerk of the Works duties on several medium sized construction projects in the Boston area. John then entered the field of Building Envelope Technology where he has focused on a wide variety of building envelope design and restoration projects. John’s extensive knowledge of building systems and the application of available roofing and waterproofing materials has proven to be an invaluable asset to numerous restoration projects. Success of these projects can also be attributed to both his technical and managerial skills to provide clients with expert roofing and waterproofing evaluations, recommendations, budget estimates as well as comprehensive design/repair documents and construction administration. He holds a Bachelors of Architectural Technology Engineering degree from Wentwroth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. John has recently joined the Wessling Architects team as the Project Manager in the Building Envelope department. Derrick Winters, Project Manager: dwinters@wesslingarchitects.com With over 10 years of experience, Derrick shows strength and knowledge in: solid foundation of construction technology with hands-on experience and strong emphasis through design development construction administration. Derrick has been closely involved with, Construction Administration through management of multiple construction teams overseeing the process of conrsuction.
